Tourism in Panama City
The city of Panama is the capital of the republic and headquarters of political, judicial and legislative power in the country. In addition, as the most densely-populated city it is also the cultural and economic center for the entire republic. Panama has a tropical climate, with abundant heat throughout the year, making it a suitable destination for tourism in any season, winter or summer. One of its main attractions is the surrounding tropical coast, both to the west, bathed by the Pacific Ocean, and to the east and the Caribbean Sea.
