Hostal Splendid Gran Vía
Set in the fifth floor of an historic building on Madrid’s Gran Via, Hostal Splendid - Gran Vía is 100 metres from Gran Via Metro Station. It offers 24-hour reception, and some double rooms have a terrace with Gran Via views. Rooms at the Splendid feature flat-screen TV and wooden or tiled floors. Rooms are also heated and there is a safe, work desk and private bathroom. Thanks to its central location, there are many bars, shops and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk of the Splendid. Luggage storage is offered and there is a tour desk. Puerta del Sol is a 5-minute walk away and you can walk to the Prado Museum in 10 minutes. Air conditioning is available only for summer days.

A very centrally placed hotel on the 5th floor in a majestic building. The rooms are old and quaint but a very engaging host and a high service level makes this a great and affordable place to stay. You are right in the middle of Calle Gran Vía, with shop

I haven't stayed at the hotel because they had cancel my reservation for no reason. I was surprised to receive cancellation from them the very next day that I got email confirmation. So I called them to find out why, the front desk was very rude explainin

Stayed here two nights. One person. Double room. Affordable. Private bath. Nice staff but little English. The procedure for room keys is odd, be sure and ask but this is a nice place for cheap. Not a hostel.

Un sitio inmejorable, muy bien de precio. Las habitaciones son cómodas y todo muy limpio. El trato del personal, excelente. Seguro que vuelvo.
